And these waves and particles manifest in myriad forms\u2014as solid things we call matter, and as light and sound. Depending on a variety of factors too complex to delve into here, waves, light, and sound are constantly shaping and re-shaping themselves into every known form in our physical universe.<\/p>\n<p>The study of wave phenomena and the ability of sound to organize and restructure matter is called Cymatics. This study shows us how frequencies of sound waves manifest as perceivable matter, ultimately making sound visible. The term cymatics was coined by Prof. Hans Jenny, a Swiss scientist and Anthroposophist (1904-1972). Professor Jenny found in his research experiments that sound waves passed through different kinds of impressionable matter\u2014such as water or sand\u2014caused the formation of geometric patterns.<\/p>\n<p>In order to explore wave phenomena, Jenny created an acoustic device called a tonoscope that used crystal oscillators to allow viewers<br \/>\nto see beautiful and detailed patterns created by sounds. Jenny found that patterns formed by matter subjected to high-pitched frequencies were complex, harmonious, geometrical, and symmetrical while less complex and disharmonious shapes formed when matter was exposed to lower frequencies.<\/p>\n<p>Since these experiments prove that sound influences matter in this profound way, can we surmise that cymatic patterns are continuously unfolding throughout the Universe? And, does Jenny\u2019s cymatics experiment prove the theory we have propounded about the creative energy of sound? As we noted earlier, in John 1:1 in the New Testament it says, \u201cIn the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.\u201d In the ancient Hindu Rigveda, we read, \u201cIn the beginning was Brahman with whom was the Word, and the Word was verily Brahman.\u201d Indeed, these sacred texts lead us to the conclusion that sound (the Word) was (and is!) the driving force of creation.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Hans Jenny&#039;s - Cymatic Soundscapes.\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/D2JeHlFtMDM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p>And, if the sacred words in the Rigveda and the Bible are not enough to convince us, we can turn to the words of one of the greatest scientists of all time, Nikola Tesla, whose words provide concrete evidence that sound and vibration are creative forces: \u201cIf you want to find the secrets of the universe,\u201d Tesla said, \u201cthink in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.\u201d Science and religion express it differently, but the meaning is the same: sound and vibration are the secret creative forces in the universe.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla and Jenny are not the only scientists to suggest that sound has super powers! Other researchers have done similar experiments to Jenny\u2019s and have made astounding discoveries. For example, Japanese author and researcher, Dr. Masaru Emoto, has done experiments on water which have proven that sound, words, and even thoughts can create miraculous changes in the molecular structure of water.<\/p>\n<p>As the human body is made up of more than 50% water, it stands to reason that we are influenced by sound and thought waves! Most of us are not aware of the direct impact that frequencies have on our minds, and on our emotional, physical, and spiritual states. The truth is<br \/>\nthat sound creates a visible and dynamic geometrical pattern in every water molecule and cell in our bodies.<\/p>\n<p>The impact of sound on our physical body and energy system is substantial. Dr. Emoto\u2019s water images are truly beautiful and inspiring. They<br \/>\nprove that matter is inherently responsive to sound and intention! They remind us that we are part of a complex, intricate vibrational<br \/>\nmatrix and that we possess far more control over our vibrational states than we previously believed.<\/p>\n<p>The insights of researchers like Emoto, Tesla, and Jenny can inspire us to remain always in flow with the laws of the universe so that we may consciously and harmoniously co-create with nature. Similarly, when we say \u201cthank you\u201d and \u201cI love you,\u201d or we send out caring thoughts to those in need, we are using the science of sound and vibration to harness our Divine powers of creativity. Sound healing is the use of sacred instruments or voice to release energetic blockages inducing a state of ease and harmony in the body.\u201d While there are many types of sound therapy, all of them produce vibrations that alter your brain waves.<\/p>\n<p>Sound Healing is considered by many to be the oldest form of healing, in the Ancient Mystery Schools of Egypt, Rome, Greece, Tibet, India as well as other places of learning, even the Aztecs and Mayans studied and utilized sound healing. With sound they can create new tissue to replace parts of damaged hearts. I documented the journey of sound with her and witnessed with the power of the gong and singing bowls specifically the dramatic shift in her emotional state and vibrational state. Bowls elicit a light dream state, and can be placed on the body to promote healing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVibrations move through water in the body,\u201d says\u00a0Dr. Buathon Thienarrom, a Thai wellness practitioner who offers sound healing with Tibetan singing bowls. \u201cWhen this happens, it helps stimulate circulation to allow muscle relaxation and improve lymphatic flow.\u201d\u00a0This particular type of sound healing has been found to reduce stress, anger, depression, and fatigue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BINAURAL BEATS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Experienced via earphones, binaural beats can be used for a variety of purposes such as meditation, lowering stress levels and anxiety, increasing focus, relieving pain and aches, improving sleep, and overcoming depression. How does it work? If you listen to a tone of\u00a0200 Hz in your left ear and a tone of 205 Hz in your right ear, your brain will automatically perceive an illusory tone and produce a new frequency of 5 Hz\u00a0(205 \u2013 200 = 5 Hz). This third tone is called a binaural beat. It is a frequency follow response where the brain automatically aligns the brainwaves to this frequency.
